How to become part of the Cool Wool Guild of Manufacturers

First you need to become a member of The Woolmark Company and produce fabrics or garments that meet The Woolmark Company's Cool Wool specifications.

The main criteria for Cool Wool is the fabric weight and smooth surface appearance, for this reason it is only applicable to worsted fabric and garment manufacturers covering knits and wovens.

Becoming a Cool Wool licensee means that you can take advantage and leverage off our media campaign, be exposed to PR and promotional opportunities through sponsored Cool Wool events and this website.

As a Woolmark Cool Wool licensee you would be able to utilise the Cool Wool logo and extend it to your customers allowing them to benefit from the PR and advertising campaign coverage.

How to become involved in Cool Wool as a retailer, brand or designer

You need to source Cool Wool products from a Woolmark licensed supplier or manufacture. Your local Woolmark office can support you in finding a manufacturer that is licensed if required

Once you have found a Cool Wool licensed manufacturer, your local Woolmark office will work with you to link you in with the campaign through online and social media channels and any events or promotional activities taking place.

Point of Sale options are available; please contact your licensed manufacturer for more information. The Woolmark Company will be happy to work with you and your supplier to assist with bespoke Point of Sale options where required
